This is a key safeguarding role within their setting, supporting some of the city’s most vulnerable young people.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in a DSL or safeguarding role (within education or social care)
• Up-to-date DSL training (Level 3)
• Strong knowledge of KCSIE and safeguarding frameworks
• Experience with multi-agency working and case management
• A trauma-informed and student-centred approach
• The role includes overseeing safeguarding procedures, managing concerns and referrals, and ensuring policy compliance across the provision.
